KCAA works with our partners to provide the most up to date data available about King County's Aerospace Sector. Whether its our workforce, mapping, or combined priorities, KCAA works to make sure our local aerospace companies have access to the tools that equip them to make informed decisions about their future.

Our current aerospace workforce

We work to connect the aerospace industry with the most current research and information available. The Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County produced an Aerospace Talent Pipeline Study in April 2016. View it here.

Communicating with our sector

Skill-up Washington created a survey of employers to gain a better understanding of manufacturing careers in King County. The study yielded invaluable information about in-demand occupations and the needs of employers for hiring and retaining employees. Read the report here.

Understanding our baseline

We began by working to understand the priorities we held in common. Working with Accenture, KCAA was able to put together a study that outlined the needs and action items for the group in the future, and provide mechanisms for future change. View it here.

Celebrating our infrastructure

Boeing Field ranks among the most successful investments in Washington State history. The airport's economic impact is over $3.5 billion in terms of local business sales that support 16,336 jobs and create $1.8 billion in labor income in the county. The airport's 150 tenant businesses also directly support 5,209 jobs in the local economy. View the airport's full economic impact report here.
